Hi. Just wondering if anyone has added a "load cost" to resources, oil, supply etc in the editor? Presently blank so I was wondering if this would have any beneficial effect in toning down the ease of moving this stuff aside from ever shrinking capacities on merchants.

Actually, only resources and oil are devices. Am checking now. Might be something to raising the load costs of these considering their raw state and need for refinement beyond any game factors regarding their transformation within the manufacturing model.

Looks like adding a load cost has zero effect.

Not surprising my guess is a "point" is inherently a load cost.

Though it is apparently in grt ... rather than some type of more normal cargo tonnage ...

I.E. a resource point equals a grt equivalent of cargo tonnes.

Interesting idea, even if it didn't quite work.

Maybe there should be a thread {sticky'd} that everybody can post their editor changes? Like having Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Maryland arrive on 12-08-41 with 30-40 sys damage.....or having Ens Kirk, J.T. start as a pilot in VF-6.
