Those aren't CHS patches, they're WitP patches.

I'm really confused now. I'm trying to get a pbem game started and my opponent must have his WitP patched differently. Here I thought his mod was different.

Okay...
Currently, the latest WitP patch is 1.795b.
CHS is a scenario for WitP, and its (CHS's) latest version is 1.6.

Thanks Terminus. Evidently my opponent is on 1.795 and this has caused Tomahawks, fprtresses and catalinas to show up in Osaka on turn 2.

I use rule of running only "production patches" in "production" but feel free to run "test patches" in "test" .. hence I have 4 installs ( 2 for Stock and 2 for CHS ... one each test and production ).
In Production for each I have WITP 1.6 patch - latest officially released patch ( whereas in test I have 1.7.9.5 beta patch )
Then for CHS Production I have 1.06 ...
and for CHS Test I have internal unreleased patch ...
But it is critical for both players to agree to the software configuration and to implement it and then to not change it without them both agreeing - as you can see !!!
