It seems that whenever I try to go to detailed battle with very large numbers (350k+?) The battles do not load and the game crashes. I have a very modern system, so I know that is not the problem. I kept replaying the same saved game and each time the Turks and their 300K+ forces tried to go to detailed battle the detailed battle map never appeared and the game froze. The rest seems to be working O.K.

Yep I can confirm this; it took me several tries for a 400K Turk vs 200K Russian battle to load. Although it did finally load and play fine without a hitch.

Thanks for the report on this. Would you mind very much zipping the save-game file from the turn right before the crash happens, and emailing this save file to ericbabe@west-civ.com? (Be sure to get both save files, .sve and .rep.)

There were some very small changes to the code in this part of the program and a bug may have been introduced when one of the lists of things going into battle is filled up.

I had this kind of crash but not in a large battle. it was a little one but occuring after 2 other large detailed battles in the same turn. I'm afraid I don't have the save files anymore.
I couldn't reproduce it even when I replayed the same turn , with the same kind of battles occuring ... [:(]
