RYO

Some time back in SP3 I did a few scenarios I called "Roll Your Own" (RYO scenarios). This came from the system of rolling your own cigs in another time.

The idea is a single scenario, set up as a campaign. You get to pick your units for this one battle, just like you would a campaign.

Now this means you have to load it and play it like you would a campaign, but sometimes we don't like our forces and wish we could have picked them ourselves.

With a RYO scenario, you can do this. Any interest here for that kind of battle?

Sounds very interesting to me. I've an idea for maybe fixing the campaign problem. Right now you can only having one made from a different machine at a time listed. I've not made a campaign in along time so those in the know, please striaghten me out if I go astray.
What if we were to bring the campaign made by another into our editor and save it. Would it then get the "computer stamp" needed to make W@W think it was made on the present computer? Thus allowing the campaigns to all be listed and not have to load and unload. I really like the excellent idea of your RYO scenarios WB but don't like the idea of fooling around all the time to get campaigns on and off.

Yep, RYO scenarios sound great and yes Campaign management seems very confusing and a bit of a pain. Sorry, seems strange to complain about something so much fun & free to boot.
