protectorates/minors creating corps

Do protectorates or minors ever create a Corps or an Army counter?

I ask because there are so many of these unattached units running around. There are a few 'minor armies' that begin in a scenario but I've not seen any produced.

I think these guys should produce those units as well. Almost all of the minors represented in the game had their own 'armies.' For example, Hesse, Wurtemburg, Saxony, Batavia, Holland(navy too), Portugal(navy too), Bavaria, Egypt, Denmark(navy too), Switzerland, Naples(navy too), Italy, Piedmont, Venice(a navy too), and many others.

Snap these units up and stick them into your own Corps/Army.

True, one may do that but if an allegiance changes then your army evaporates. I much prefer to treat my protectorates by themselves and keep them 'close' in their own organizations in case they change sides.

I dont think minors/protectorates build additional corps or armies, you only get the ones the scenario starts with. However if you build a corps or army in a conquered minor province the army/corps counter has the conquered minors marker flag on it.

If true, then they should build these units when the 'unit' count reaches a certain level. A good addition in a future patch in my opinion.
