Some findings while playing

I am playing US vs Japan for the first time in my SPWAW career and have just upgraded to 7.0 so I do not know if this is a quirk with the countries or the revision. I do not see any of my tanks op-fire against infantry even when the infantry was spotted before I end the turn and remain spotted for the entire AI turn.
Also, this I have noticed on previous versions but is still there in 7.0. The C2-4 slot unit, somewhat random on which slot, seems to get suppressed (can even be routed) during delay & defend missions when it has NOT been fired upon or spotted. This seems to happen on most turns but not every turn or even every game.
