Here comes my first attempt at an AAR and a PBEM. I hope this will be entertaining, if not educational =)

Jutland, Jwilkerson (JAP) vs. Rysyonok (Allies).

For security (read: laziness) purposes this AAR will run a turn behind.

My first move was to ambush Japanese fleet still at its home bases.

Seems that you guys just don't trust Tankerace with his tutorials [:D]

I blame having too much "Go where no man has gone before" mush left over from Star Trek days =)

The tutorials can always wait until another game.

Actually you did very well, IMHO. This pretty much answers my question regarding defence strategies. Seems that it is still better to keep SC squadrons smaller on defence as well. Especially with night combats.

Hm... tell you what. Wait 24 hours to see what happened the next turn. =) It'll be fun.

And something else... imagine the outcome if both of my assault groups made it to Manila.

For reasons beyond me one never left Hong Kong.
