i would like to know if you must have planes in the pool for the squadron to arrive. For example; i don't built "Rufe", but what if a new squadron arrives? it doesn't appear? it onlyappears if i've got enough?[&:][&:]

Yes, you must have the equal number of planes of the corrisponding type in the pool for the new squadron to deploy.

And if you do not have enough planes, it says the squadron is Organizing under days til arrival.

I believe all this applies only to the Japanese. IIRC Allied air units arrive at full strength regardless of what is in their pool.

Not true, at least in my game. I am scraping the bottom of the barrel for fighters, and i've had new (Canadian) units scheduled for Hurricanes arrive with (gag) Lysanders...[X(][8|][:(]

If there is not enough planes in the pool for allied player, air groups will sometimes arrive with 0 planes of correct type, and sometimes AC type is changed to a different aircraft (sometimes it is upgraded and sometimes it is downgraded). Haven't been able to figure out the pattern. Maybe it depends on what's available in the pool.
