Bwheatley-J vs Wolfie -A 22-26

Well another shot at playing japan. This time i'm going to take a different route then i am with GenBilly. While i think i still can beat general billy i know i could have taken PH if i had been a little more forceful. But after running the numbers japan starts with 21 divisions & 16 Brigades.

This time i'm going to be more conservative. I am sending 2 divisions to Midway straight off with a 2 BB bombardment task force. 2 Divisions to Wake.

I am sending 6 divisons to the city north of ClarkFIeld Lepasi(sp?) or no Lignayqyayaya <~~ sp

And then another 3 divisions to Naga. This time i'm not messing around i have 4 ART units and all the light units i can to just hopefully sweep right through the defenders. After that i will clean up and take all the rest of the unclaimed cities.

But this time i will be more conservative. You guys are my council so after taking Midway,Wake,Guam & PI i will need your advice. I was thinking taking vladavostok would be good. That would not bring the rest of the western powers into the war and it will give me 600 points i can use to hang in there. The soviets activate but they dont start with much.

Suggestions guys??

remember rookie player here need the help! :)

Well i forgot about this game and i sent rick back his turn today.

I am going for a different approach. 2 division are heading to both midway and wake along with BB units All my task forces have DD's to guard them. I am sending way more divisions to PI to quickly put them under and minimize casaulties. I am landing at the base to the north of Clark
and will quickly march into Clark and take it once i eliminate the garrisons i can clean up PI at my leisure.

After that i will evaluate if i plan to move on PH or if i plan to hold that line firm and then swing back to take Hong Kong & Shanghai.

Ideas?

My BB fleets caught some of his cruisers a few hexes West of Manila and sunk a CA & CL. I have my other 3 fleets spreading out WEST to search. They are all heavily damaged so they cant get far. Question about REACT will it make my BB tf's move towards an enemy? And will it only work if they are still a full turn? or will it work while they are moving as well?

Also will it make transports run?

This time i'm putting my new found knowledge of the game into use with Rick. I'm going to take all non Pearl islands and going to attempt to NOT engage the us fleet unless they come to me. I want them to be the ones to have to scurry home to a safe port. 2 Divisions on Wake & Midway and then Bde's on Palmyra, Johnston. I dont know if i will go for any hawaaiin islands. But i am focusing MAJORLY on manilla this time i am sending 15 divisions there with all the arty we have. :) I will not wait 3 months to take it. Also the Southern Area Army is going to be in manilla too to help reduce resistance.
