In the manual the chart on page 28 lists that buildning a Guard Inf div takes 6 turns (not counting any bonus from high barrack/factory level). But when I build a Guard unit in my lvl 6 fac./barrack city it takes 18 months to complete!
If the chart has the wrong numbers, than please post a new chart on the forum or at least post where the numbers in game are different from the manual.

You're right, it is a manual missprint.
