Hi!
Japanese named thier cruiser by name of moutains, althourh No.13 class even more powerful than battleships they were BATTLECRUISER, so they should also get names from mountains.

Yashima is a poetic name of Japan Islands, Ezo Yamato and Musashi is the name of formor states in Japan, so these names can name battleships but not battlecruisers.

The names of Amagi class firstly were Amagi Akagi Atago and Ashitaka, you can see all of them are Initiated by A, althourh lately Ashitaka renamed to Takao, so I wondered the names of No.13 class might be from mountains and initiated by I.

There is a great possibilty of Ibuki Ikoma Iwate and Ishigari, the old armoured cruiser or battleships of same names should be retired when they finished.

If I remember correctly, the No. 13 design was considered a "fast battleship" and not just a battlecruiser. In which case dreadnought-type names would be appropriate.

Orange Dawn has had to take a back seat to real life concerns, but I do intend to continue work on this project.

Hi FDRLincoln, Thanks for your work and I will support you as a can.

Although No.13 likes a kind of fast-battleship, but the 8-8-project is to bulid 8 battleship and 8 battlecruiser, under this project, No.13 must to be bulit as a battlecruiser, so they must be named as Battlecruiser.

Actually I had read some Japanese fiction, the No.13 had been name as Fuji, Asama and so on but all of them all acording to the mountain.
