Any other old timers here that remember the Avalon Hill game covering the Crete airdrops (and Malta too)? I owned this game ~ 18 years ago, but had never played it, but really enjoyed the subject matter. I am really looking forward to COTA, as this gives me a chance to actually play the Crete campaigns using Panther's much better system.

Yes I had it. It too was among those games that I loved to unbox and look through but never actually played.

It was an odd title like that but surely does contribute some to my own interest in COTA.

Sure do :) - went over the manual of the game about 2 years ago to see if it had any useful data / insights / bibliography list.

Yes I have it and played it. A classic in its day.
