Have any of you ever wanted to have a war summary after fighting an especially long war? I mean, a summary report outlining allies, casualties, prisoners, leaders killed, provinces conquered and the treaty terms. I think it would be neat to be able to review the stats and results from a war.
Now I'm not a programmer so I can't speak to the difficulty level in doing so, but I thought it would be neat to see.

I'd like to see OOB's available to be dumped to a text file prior to each battle. This would make COG much more friendly to operating as a campaign moderator for a miniatures campaign.
The battle results and economics are already written, temporarily, to memory (at least I don't know which file, if any) in order to be brought up under the tabs at the bottom as well as what is listed via the events button.
It probably wouldn't be too difficulty to write this to a .txt file each turn.

War summaries and OOB summaries are good ideas.
We're also discussing (for sequels or *maybe* for a patch) doing division / corps / army histories as well.

If it is easy to add along with the War/OOB summaries, then more power to ya, but if it will take a lot of coding, I don't feel a great desire to have it in this version of COG.
When you eventually go to a brigade sized base element, then division/corps/army histories would be something I'd really like to see, especially for the battle honors of my units.

Division level histories also helps clear up confusion -- if a player isn't sure why a division suddenly has 3,000 fewer strength than he thought, or if the morale is surprisingly lower, the notion is that he could just pop-open a division history and see the history of every change in strength of the unit and what caused it. But it could also include a description of every detailed combat attack the unit made.
This is a bit ambitious, and is more likely something we're considering for sequels than for a patch.
