I assume so. It needs to have a location assigned.

Interestingly enough in my mod I had to redo the Akagi but forgot to specifiy its location as being in a task force thus location 0000. When I examined the first turn I discovered that the Akagi was listed in the ships in play but was not "on the map".... No location = Loction in some other dimension??

It should arrive at the ship's national main base (SF for USN, Osaka for IJN,etc) on that date.

If date is prior to start of scenario, it will arrive at the base at end of first turn.

While mentioning start location, ......

I am playing scenario 13 at the moment (or at least trying to), and I have found a few LCUs that seem to have "vanished".

Now, this is not the vanishing bug issue, but an error in the scenario database file.

Some units (12) have a location of (0,0) in the database file with a zero (0) delay date (or date prior to the scenario start).
These units have been marked as killed and will not show up in the game because of the location.

This is a nuisance since 6 of them are Allied AirHq units, and I really think I will needed them. As they have not been "killed" in combat, they will not return as a reinforcement.

So remember to set a land location for LCUs that will begin the scenario on the map.
A location of (0,0) is okay for reinforcements as the (0,0) tells program to use the nation's home base as the arrival point.
