How Many "Real" Sounds Are in the Game?

There are some, but I don't know exactly how many. It's been pointed out to me that many weapon sounds are taken from overdubbed films and documentaries. It doesn't lessen the value of the game, as sound-recording "in the field" was poor during WWII.
Most of the historical footage we see on the History Channel and elsewhere was silent, with foley sound added during post-production. In this way, it's no different than any Hollywood film.
I've listened to some actual sound from old footage, and with just a single hand-held microphone, it's just a cacophony of noise. To the credit of the SPWaW team, they've provided a great group of sound files, and I've heard that some veterans testify to their accuracy.
I only bring this up as I'm somewhat of an audiophile, and the sounds we have vastly increase the immersion level of the game. Most of us grew up watching war movies, so we've come to expect certain sound effects -- strangely, I've even found myself questioning the "realness" of actual war sounds on the rare occasions we can hear them.
Kinda funny, isn't it?

Hello...
Much in the same way we expect equipment to look. I used to think it looked more realistic to use real aircraft interiors and then I noticed that the paint looked 60 years old, which it was. When the plane was new, during the war, the paint was fresh and the knobs hadn't been worn down.
Many folk now expect hand grenades to explode like naptha, into a ball of flame. Hollywood reality has become, for many, more realistic than reality, reality.

On the recommendation of a friend, I checked out
http://www.sounddogs.com/
This site has many authentic weapons sounds, BUT, the free downloads are of low quality, and don't convert very well into SPWaW format -- the volumes are way too low in comparison with existing game sounds. However, some of you might want to hear some of the "real thing" for curiosity's sake.
