New 5.3 Database

Once we have gotten the 5.2 version, if we want to load the 5.3 version, does the 5.2 version need to be removed from the folder? I tried to use the 5.3 but it did not read it. Was wondering if that is because there is a conflict here. Thanks

Puresim is not coded to look for 5.3 so it will not recognize it. Shaun has to put out an update to bring Puresim upto speed. For now just play on 5.2 and when the patch comes out you can put 5.3 in and use it.

If you rename the 5.3 file "lahman_52" the game recognizes it and you can load 2005 season.
