TANKS

I was watching the movie"The Big Red One" and there was a scene where they showed German armor advancing in the Kasserine Pass. What kind of tanks did they use for that movie? looked like shermans to me.

Considering when the movie was made, they were probably US M-48's. I'll have to watch the movie again to be sure, but it's rare to see actual German armor in any war movie, and I doubt they used Shermans since there weren't that many still running.

I am not sure as I have not seen the movie in a long time. But I seem to remember some M-51 Ishermans in the movie. If I recall correctly, some of the movie was filmed in Israel.
