I like to autoplay a few innings at a time ,how if possible can you stop the computer changing pitchers.

To follow up on that. Strat-O-Matic used to have a feature where you could autoplay until someone got on base, then it would open back up for managerial input. How hard would it be to implement that kind of autoplay into PureSim 2006?

Autoplay puts in the AI manager, so you pretty much can't guarantee anything - but you could do something.
Go to the manager / GM options screen. There will be a number of substitutions options:
- defensive substitutions
- pinch hitting
- pinch running
- pitcher changes
You could set all of these to the lowest possible settings. The AI might still make changes in the 8th and 9th innings, but should be very unlikely to do so in the first five innings (barring injury).
