What to build with 155 xtra durability points

If you had 155 durability points to play with in '44-'45 as Japan, what would you build to defend the home Islands? Minelayers? Subs? ASW craft? More Tankers to replace the ones which have been torpedoed by Allied subs? A combination of the above? Something else?

I've deleted Taiho and Ibuki from the build queue and want to substitute something more practical for the war effort. [:)]

Yeah, pretty much anything the Japanese build at that point is going to end up at the bottom of the sea anyway. BUT, to make things a little more gamey, what might stall the Allies for just a little longer?

Phasers or Photon torpedoes would be my advice...Oh sorry wrong game...

ASW, ASW and more ASW. Plus subs (fast, RO/Ha types with good maneuver values, I-boats are easy targets for latewar Allied ASW) and maybe a few tankers if we have extra left over. [:)]

I think you have to check if the ships you want to build are naval or merchant vessels. At least as far as I understood the shipbuilding concept, there is the difference between both types as you have different shipbuilding facilities and capabilities. Don't ask me which ASW-ships are of which type. [&:]

What about the Hirashima MLs in the game? They are pretty much armed like PGs or PCs and can perform ASW duties. I assume they aren't merchies?
