Yep. My only wish is that I could see some of his works' results. Not all, just a tiny bit say a new screenshot. From here it looks like he is working on the first computer game in recent years which does not need any patching right after the release. Which is a good thing, but very trying my patience.

As a little explanation I read George RR Martin's excellent Song of Ice and Fire Saga. Recently the first half of the fourth book has been published (out of planned six). Since it takes a long time these fantastic books to be written and published (something like 1,5-2 years per book), while wainting for the publication of the third book in hungarian (I prefer to read on my motherlanguage) I had a nighmare. Mr Martin had a car accident/plnae crash/earthquake/heartattack and we were left with an unfinished saga of epic proportions, overshadowing even Lord of the Rings. That were my fears so I was more than glad to see Marshall's life signs on this forum.

Speaking of GRRM, for the first time I am having a very hard time getting into his book. I'm not sure whether it was the long delay between books or the fact he split this one in two. Either way, I am finding it a tough read and very disappointing.

Since I usually wait for novels to be translated, what I know about Feats for crows is from other people who have read it. They all say it is the least tempting one to get succumbed into. Maybe/ probably because of the limited number of viewpoins charactersand the long time passed. But it still has its surprises.

I'm so tired of waiting that I just brought a copy from ebay. Gonna learn the rules and try and find an email game. Anyone here fancy a game?

sure i would like to, only need to find a game master who is willing to spend a lot of time managing the game and enough dedicated players.

Do you really need a GM? Can just two people play, for instance France/UK?

Huh! I was gone for a few days and when I came back and read "February Update" and it had 11 posts, I thought I had missed something. Guess not. Oh well, maybe next month.[8|]

Uh oh,
I see a lot of work coming towards me!
"Fire and ice"? Overshadowing the "Lord"?
And I don't know it!
Stuff to read - yeeehaaa!

You know the "Wheel of Time" sequel?
Strange - but very interesting...

Yeah it starts with A Games of Thrones.

Wheel of Time started well, I think I read the first two books enthusiastically and put it down for good after the fifth one (cant remember the titles). It became a meaningless pile of characters, from a writer who could have done it better. But since he was paid after pages, characters whatever it just got into a heap of poitnless descriptions.

GRRM is far better.

I agree. Wheel of Time started very well but then got lost. Unfortunately, I think GRRM just did that with the Fire and Ice saga.

Hey all:

Yes, I'm alive and working (All three of my jobs). We're fixing and testing at a much faster rate and that's all I care to say at this time!

Thank you

Marshall

Thanks Marshall. We'll stand on the guard until the time has come.

As of GRRM it is only one book (hopefully) out of seven or more. Jordan has reached this stage something like 5 volumes ago. One more thing. While Westeros definitely resembles a medieval Kingdom, the similiarity ends here. In the Wheel of time almost EVERYTHING is from somewhere else (tralloks, the sign oóf the dragon -Yinyang anyone-, Eaglewing Arthur or who etc.)

Sure 2 people can play EiA but you wont see how great EiA is if you are only 2 people. You need 7 players to really see how great the game is. And for a PBeM game you need a GM to make sure nobody cheats...
