Problem with supply in China

Hello,

I have installed beta patch 1.087 and I have seen that a problem thata happened in previous versions regarding Japanese supply in China is not solved. If you conquer the farthest region in China (that is not connected by rail) the supply is not arriving there. It is 2 regions from the last region with rail. The program does not move the required supply in the auto supply modes, although if you deactivate the automatic options for supply you can move the supply by yourself. But it is a lot of work!

Thanks

To my knowledge auto-supply only works to areas that can be reached by rail or sea.

Mind, I do not play with auto-supply myself - but can't you just move those few supply yourself that are needed up there in addition to the supply moved automatically?

Yes, you can try to move supply deactivating the auto-supply for a while but next turn the supply has already been relocated.

Hello,

It seems that auto supply for regions without rail works only when a connection with rail or ship is adjacent but not 2 regions away unless supplies are built 2 regions away.In the case of China if I repair Chungking factory and build supplies in it, supplies arrive up to 2 regions away.

Since units can be supplied from adjacent areas, it may be able to move supplies one area off rail by normal movement and supply an area adjacent. So it may be able to supply 2 areas away. However, when moving by rail, you cannot then move in the same turn off the rail, so you could only supply 1 area away from where you can strat move to (since units can be supplied by supplies in adjacent areas). Does that explain what you are seeing?

Yes, I understand that supply routines tend to supply mainly by rail and then moving to areas adjacent to rail. But the system should try to reach by normal movement areas not adjacent.I think it is a problem because you should move supplies around several areas by normal movement, but I would do it by myself manually.
