Record Keeping in MF?

I'm wondering if there is going to be any record keeping in Maximum Football, or if records will have to be kept track manually? I'm hoping that single game, season, and career records for individuals and teams are kept. Also the ability to look at past standings, etc.

Maximum-Football keeps track of all stats for all players that have ever played in a league. Stats are shown for a single season or for their career. (part of the career mode additions).

Past standings and game results are kept but not displayed.

Keep in mind that the game allows you to reset a league file. Basically putting back to square one. If you do that, you'll lose all your historic data (I display a big warning dialog before resetting the league so you'll be able to think about what you're doing :) )

Hi David,

Thanks for the quick response. I'm taking it by your reply that team records aren't kept now. For example if I'm interested in seeing what team scored the most points in a single game, I'll have to manually record this information myself? Does the same go with for who gained the most yards in a game by a team, or even most yards in a game rushing by an individual?

No no, all that is kept. Schedules, results, and standings are not cleared at the end of the season so if you want to look back you can.. but the cavet to that none of the information is actually displayed anywhere. I'd really envisioned the 3rd party developer guys using that more than anyone else. They were the ones actually requesting that information be kept around. The first builds of the game with career mode actually cleared all that away.

Game logs are stored on disk as text files. So you can play a game and open the results much later on with something as simple as notepad.

Those are not cleared when you reset a team. You would need to manually delete those files yourself.
