i just joined this forum but i have been reading it since christmas when i got GGWAW. i especially liked that people like Lebatron were doing great things to make the game better. at some point i read that version 1.071 was pulled after Lebatron had made franco's alliance so i am unable to get v 1.071.
i just read that v 1.087 is available but where do i get that and v 1.071? also Lebatron said he would be realeasing v 2.3 of franco's alliance but i have not seen that either.
i am really itching to do a pbem game since i have been practicing against the AI on v 1.40 and especially a multiplayer game but i want to get the best version installed first.

You can download 1.087 by following the instructions in this post.

You should not need 1.070/1.071 as that version is completely replaced by 1.087 now.

Thanks for the compliment[:)] BTW Franco v2.3, which will be compatible with the the changes in patch 1.087, is almost ready. I know I mentioned a few days ago I was going to release it that night, but I wanted to tinker with the AI file some more. I hate to keep making promises, but maybe you'll see it posted tonight.

Yes, please don't use v1.071 - it had some problems. v1.087 is much improved and is definitely the best available version.
