Yes, I finally updated it to version 1.21. I hope you enjoy it. BTW, Shaun continues to make "skinning" easier and easier. He's almost there.

I'm just sorry it took me so long to get it updated. I especially like the new photo I found for the "injury screen". I think the "scuffed ball" goes with that screen perfectly.

BTW:
1) If you don't want the music to play just rename the "music folder" to xmusic or something else. If it can't find it -- it won't play it.
2) You don't even have to download the music if you don't want too.
3) You can replace any of the mp3s with your own mp3s as long as you rename yours the same as the defaults.
Also, you can, of course, replace any of the photos with your own as long as you again rename them the same as the defaults. 1024x768 jpegs.
Skinning PS is easier than you might think. Also, editing "html files" is not all that difficult either.

No one has found a bug? I know of one problem I had, but I let it go.
BTW, has anyone replaced the "mp3s" with their own? Did you find it easy to install?

the music didn't change when I installed the siena skin
however, the instructions on your website didn't work when I first installed it...I don't really remmeber what the problem was.
Love the skin though. It really makes the visuals of the program that much better.

1) What music are you talking about? If you're talking about Shaun short intro mp3 then you have to do as I said and over write his mp3 with my new "PS04TakeMeOut1.mp3". If you are talking about all the different mp3s then you "must" do as I said and create a folder inside the "html folder" and call it "music". All the mp3 files go in the music folder.
2) I re-read my instructions and they are correct, plus I provided a visual.
3) I'm glad you got it installed correctly, and I'm glad you like it.

I thinking of putting up a "XML" editing tutorial on my website. Is anyone interested?

I am very, very interested. I can't find a complete guide or sample files and my edits aren't producing the results I expect. I'd be most grateful for the instruction.

Definitely. I think its a real shame we lost lynchjim's beautiful posts, stickied at the top of the old forum, and they'd be a great boon to you in writing that if Shaun could retrieve them for you.

I posted them (as a link) in the PS Support section above. I had posted some questions there. Apparently not too many visitors to that sub section.... here's the link with the old forum info....

Now this might seem like a dumb question. I went to try and edit the XML and couldn't figure out how to get the values to change. It's like they're all locked in. Is there some secret to this?

Do not try to edit the orignal puresim.xml file. Right click on it and copy it. Paste in the same xml folder. I will name itseft "Copy of puresim.xml" Rename it whatever you want -- maybe, "rich_puresim.xl".
Then right click on "rich_puresim.xml" and open with "Wordpad". You can then edit it easily. Just make sure you don't mess with the formatting. Just change the values. Then save it.
Now open the game and go to "Options and Utilities / Association Settings" And change the "Engine File" to "rich_puresim.xml.
Hope this helped!
