SORRY Tournament has been CANCELED
Announcing sign-ups for my next Tournament. It will start the day that this beta patch becomes an official version. Sign-ups will close 7days after the patch releases. It will be an elimination type tourney but not a simple elimination. Any number of players may join.
Here is how it works:
When players join they will be placed on the player list.
Each player will play 2 games at the same time in each round.
---One game as Allies against the player above you in the list
---One game as Axis against the player below you in the list.
----Example: Player 2 will be the Allies against player 1 & the Axis against player 3
-------------- Player 1 (me) will be the Axis against player 2 and the Allies agaist the last player to sign up.
In order to advance to the next round a player must win at least one of their 2 games (a draw is not a win for either player) Players will be placed in the list for round 2 in the order that they finish both of their games.
That is it, very simple really.
The total number of rounds is determined by how many players continue to advance in each round. It is possible for every player to win 1 game, but very unlikely. It is also possible you will play the same opponent more than once, although not necessarily as the same world powers.
As an incentive to win both of your games and to add a little bit of flavor to future rounds you will gain 1 point for every game you win.
When starting a new round you will receive a free supply point handicap for Japan in your Axis games and Russia in your Allied games for every tournament point you have.
You never lose your tournament points and they keep growing as you win and advance.
So going into round 2 with 1 tournament point would get you 1 extra supply point in each game. About 24 turns in a full game, that’s 24 supply points almost 5 production points. But do not forget your opponent also has at least one point.
Auto Victory on
End Date on
FOW on
Advanced supply
Fuel
Supply handicap as described above on rounds 2 – final.
There are no other house rules observed.
48 hrs to return a file to your opponent. After 48 hrs you will forfeit the game.
Exceptions are vacations (notify your opponents the dates as soon as applicable), and computer meltdowns.
