Differences in base data between map versions 4 and 5.1

A couple of people have asked me for a list of differences in the base data between versions and 5.1 (the latest) of my map. I have recently been playing around with a perl script that creates documents that list differences between scenarios. It is not completed yet, but I ran it to make a list of the differences in base data between scenario 115 (my conversion of scenario 15) for the two map versions.

The document in now on my website here

Note that there are quite a few differences besides new bases: resources in India, and starting fuel levels in some Pacific Island bases, for example. Also, due to the way that the script works, it matches up bases in the two scenarios by their names, so where bases have changed names the script treats them as new bases and deleted bases, rather than changed bases.

Note also that these changes are only for my scenario 115, not all scenarios I convert to my map. e.g. I don't mess around with the bases data for Nik's mod, except when I have to, so there are far fewer changes in his nod compared to scenario 115.

If anyone has any further questions, please let me know.

This is proabaly not the right thread but seeing you are online I was wondering being a recent convert to WITP from HOI2 whether the CHS mod is playable on the normal size 5.1 version of your map or whether I need the extend map to use CHS

Thanks

At the moment, CHS has not been updated to the version 5.1 map. It is still designed for the version 4 map. The next CHS update will be for the version 5.1 map. In the past I have made versions of CHS available for the standard map as well as for the extended map, in case there are people who want to play CHS on the standard map (CHS was originally designed to be played with the extended map). I intend on doing the same thing for the next CHS release.
