Howcome skitroops, etc finnish ski troops with satchel charge won`t assault against tanks? Finnish antitank ability in general is quite lousy and this makes their ability to challence tanks even worst...

Unfortunately, the "Ski Troop" unit class is prevented from making close assaults. Maybe those units shouldn't have satchel charges, since the only way the charges could be used is by the 'select single weapon to fire' method...this means hitting the 'C' key to bring up a window listing the unit's weapons, and selecting by number 1-4 which weapon you wish to use against an already targeted unit.

No ambushing tanks, though...
This ability has also been removed from the Sniper class.

The ski unit will toss the explosive onto tank just as if firing its other weapons. They can destroy armor but their method is different.

Finnish AT capability is NOT lousy. You have yet to discover how to do it. T-26's can be destroyed with hand grenade volleys, btw.
