If you followed KG Erwin and Afrika Korp slugging it out, this is the scenario modified for single player. It may also work for PBEM, since the Japanese have been beefed up some. I recommend single player.

__________Island Clash**

___USMC Assault/Japanese Defend*
_______Amphibious Landing*
______September, 1944, 0700*
___________Turns: 24*
_Version 8.3+, use only graphic mods**

______Scenario Size: Medium*
_Estimated Playing Time: 2 Hours**

___Design: Eric ‘Goblin’ DiNicola*
_________goblin@spwaw.com**

_Visit the Depot at www.spwaw.com**

Testers: chief (Bob), Sherman 'trip 1509' Triplett, Don 'Xeno' Eddins**

Designer Note: The destroyer ‘Sigourney’ and the cruiser ‘Portland’ pack a lot of firepower. Use them. There may be hidden Japanese tunnels! Watch for Banzai charges out of them.**
You and your Marines are going ashore! You are responsible for Red Sector, while other Battalions hit other beaches north and south of you. The rugged hills here are packed with cliffs, caves, and hidden Japanese defenders.**
Your Orders are clear. Attack and defeat the enemy.**

Available at The SPWaW Depot and at Wargamer (once its approved)

The original battle was great, so I can offer a hearty endorsement for this enhanced version.

Wild Bill would be proud of it. Thanks, Goblin. [&o]
