What's the problem, now, "Sad Sack"?

Wonder why high flying recon pilots suffer such horrendous morale drops?
They usually fly too damn high to be intercepted, they never see flak that high, and the worst that happens is it *might* be a long time in the air with no toilet.
They go home to a nice cold brewski and a warm bed at night.
I just don't don't see why life is rough for these slackers.....

They suffer morale loss because the fighter jockies are picking up all the woman on leave with their war stories. Nobody wants to hear a recon pilot talk about taking pictures of troop movements.
