As part of the testing for the rosters I am building based upon the actual stats for the NFL's 1994 season I use exhibition games to test whether players and stats seem realistic.

I recently ran a game matching up Arizona vs Atlanta (which Arizona won 26 - 0, and it wasn't pretty)

Everything seemed reasonable except for the pass completion percentages (9-32 for Atlanta and 12-44 for Arizona). Arizona has the top pass defense in 1994 and a killer defense overall. Atlanta had Jeff George, who had a good to very good year with receivers such as Terance Mathis (112 receptions), Andre Rison, Bert Emanual, Rickey Sanders etc. who all had excellent seasons and catch ratings in the 90's. Jeff George has PSTR 98 and PACC 90, while Jay Schroeder had PSTR 78 and PACC 93.

I can understand Arizona holding a team to a sub par pass performance since they had more defensed pases, interceptions and sacks than any other team in 1994, but Atlanta's pass defense was barely okay.

More exhibitons games will tell the tale. Has anyone experienced lower that expected pass completion percentages?

You might want to look at modifying the plays before messing too much with attributes. I say this because I find the stock passing plays awful for the 11 man game and rating adjustments won't help getting realistic results.

Agreed. I wouldn't put much faith on the Stock Plays included with the game. I would highly recomend building Playbooks similar to the ones used at that time by teams then go edit Player Roster Ratings.

I noticed that the stock passing plays were not the most elaborate. I feel my ratings are pretty accurate for each player also.

I have a play book for each team. I hope I can run PDS, but I guess we'll see.
