Matrix Games Forums

Well after lurking on these forums for about a week...and reading ...and re-reading reviews....and the game descriptions....i finally took the plunge and ordered COG....im very new to the genre....and probably should have started off with a less complex game....i guess i'll find out if the download ever finishes....but ....just wanted to say hello to the forum....and prepare all for some really nOOb questions...[X(]

Try not to fall into the apprehensive mind set of this title is to complex, yes there is a step learning curve but by no means a complex micro management nightmare.

Well...after playing ....or should i say...exploring the game....i can tell already its exactly what i was looking for....of course its not a game that i will learn over night...but i can tell already its a game that will keep me up all night....as of now...i ve played two hours with Britain and have managed to pretty much turn all of europe against me....guess i will work on diplomacy....but i love the game.....money well spent....i am very pleased[:D]

it is a great game, and don't worry about asking questions, if you can't find it in the fourm ask, someone will know something

(of course, two others will disagree, but that is half the fun)

There is a learning curve, but well worth it. I nearly gave up but after several tries began to finally get the hang of the game.

I am enjoying it and glad that I took the time to figure it out.[:D]

Thanks for the welcome....so far the questions ive had ive been able to find the answers here on the forum....but it is nice, with a game this complex to have a forum that is as helpful and friendly as this one is....as far as the learning curve goes...i enjoy a challenge....thats half the fun for me....well im off to europe to get my Butt handed to me again....[:D]
