Hi!

Yep, I realize must folks are intimately aware of what TOAW looks like, but I'm sure there are some new faces around that would like to see what we are talking about.

Besides that I'm getting this "very soon vibe" on release, sooo.. why not throw us a bone with at least a couple shots?

BTW.. come on boys.. I'm really looking forward to getting this game.

Can't wait on this one. Ever since I realised my mistake of getting rid of my original TOAoW many years ago......all guns to the fore...or whatever they say to make you kick ass and get this baby out.

Just to let you know, there are not going to be any drastic visual differences between CoW and TOAW 3. So screenshots are not going to do the work that has been done, much justice. Most of the work, has been "under the hood". There are some graphical enhancements for UI improvements, and the framework is laid for players to more easily swap in their own graphics packages. However, the default, will be the look and feel that long term players are already familiar with. TOAW, in all of its iterations, has always had a steep learning curve, and we don't want to scare away the returning players by changing the look and feel unnecessarily, and making them learn everything all over again.[:D]

On Monday, I'll start a series of "Release Countdown Feature Previews" so that you guys will know what kind of new things are coming down the 'pike.

Ray,
So, you know what TOAW looks like? Good. You won't have any problem with the changes then...

Don't worry, they're small changes.

Wonderful news. You plan on making these posting here I presume . . . would be good if you make additional postings at TDG, Blitz and SZO to direct people's attention here.

Now if only we can get Matrix to do the same for Battlefields.

1) James is talking about posting the new features a little bit every day or two until release.
2) Yes. 'When it's done.'
