-If we lowered experience for ALL pilots, including replacements, historical pilots and squadrons, wouldn´t we achieve the bigger op losses effects we are wiling to have?

That's what I've been saying...exp is waaaaay too high. An excellent pilot should be in the 50s, leaves room for oustanding pilots.

That would work.
But the ease how quickly are pilots gaining experience by flying missions needs to be reduced.
Now you can get guy who doesnt know how the aircraft looks like (25 exp) to average pilot (exp 50) in 10 days...
We are all unhappy how easily are Japanese elite pilots shot down in late war - but on the other hand its very easy to produce elite pilot in the game.

It should be more difficult for pilot experience to increase % levels, perhaps directly relating to the next % point on the scale. At some point, perhaps only A2A kills, bomb hits, torpedo hits etc can increase exp levels, over 50 perhaps. The maximum experience level for a combat pilot should not be obtainable through merely flying from A to B or bombing a dot.
