My battalion has been given the lovely task of delaying the German army for at the least a half hour, in order to evacuate Brussels. I have established my HQ in town, to keep an eye on the evacuation, and divided my battalion into 4 main groups.
Group North has taken positions on a hill to the northwest of town. Upon 20 minuits passing they have been ordered to withrawl to the next phase, splitting between the town of Brussels itsself and Strongpoint B.
Group East is defending the road, and is expected to engage the majority of the German Panzer brigade. They have orders to withdrawl to Strongpoint B as well.
Group South is defending a railway, and is expected to recieve the lightest enemy contact. They will fall back to Strongpoint C.
Our field guns and Calvary have been positioned at the rear, with the Calvary divided between all three Strongpoints and all field guns at B. We have the support of several 13.7mm TwinAAMGs, which have orders to lay waste to the German infantry. We will make this a repeate of the Battle of Sommes, only this time it will be German, not British, who are cut down like cattle. Once Brussels is evacuated, we will retreat.
