Does anybody know how I can locate the art slots for the ships when they upgrade to newer configuration.?
I am very familiar with the editor, (its' pretty similar to the one in SPWAW, but it does not seem to show the graphics numbers??
Fremen just released an upgraded Nevada class BB and I do not want to use the same slot as the original, (with that great cage mast configuration.)

I use CHS 1.06, (if this makes a difference.)

Thank you.......

Okay, I figured it out..
1. In the editor, find "CLASS" and open.
2. See if the class of ship you are using has more than one entry, example:NORTH CAROLINA
3. NORTH CAROLINA has 3 seperate entries,slots 1201, 1202, 1203..
4.Find the earliest by date which will be when it is supposed to come into the game.
5. See the "BIT MAP" number, which is the number of the graphic in the art file.
6. Also see the Upgrade# at the bottom of the ship class page, as it will tell you which ship class info screen to go to next.
7. This next "upgrade" page gives another date (by month and year) and MAY give a different "bit map" number as well.
(Not all "upgrades" changed the outward configuration of the ship.
**If you are not sure what you are doing, I reccomend you save your stock artwork in a seperate folder before you make any changes, but this is pretty easy.
(With newer modded artwork which might not give the "bitmap#" already, you can look here in the editor and just by going to the "CLASS" page, you can find where your new artwork belongs..[:)]
