Last night I started watching a Quick Play game. cpu vs cpu, custom league, american rules, using the Fun & Gug Playbook posted to the members area as opposed to the version which came with the game. I allowed it to run a full quarter and then saved the game. This morning I tried to resume the game and the home team has been changed from cpu to coaching mode. I tried restarting it several times and the result is always the same. I loaded a second game saved earlier and this second game picked up cpu vs cpu just as it had been when saved.

The first game discussed was started using the 1.0.0.101 beta patch while the first was started using an older patch. I belived that it was the 1.096 bata patch.

I see no way to go in once the first game resumes to reset the home team to cpu.

I opened the saved game file with a text editor and determined that the Home Input: line was blank while the visitor read COMPUTER. I typed in COMPUTER beside the colon on the Home Input line and saved the text file with the DAT extension and tried to load the saved game. It worked and the game continued to run cpu vs cpu.

Having found the way to resolve the problem, the question as to why the game did not save all the entires to begin with still exist. I tried starting and stopping another game it worked as it should have. I have not been able to reproduce the problem.
