Has everyone taken a break or have they all ask for a refund?

Maybe everyone's trying to send a telepathic message to Matrix - "give us a new patch"...[:D]

I'm with frunky (busy playing, but at work).
I feel sorry for those who asked for a refund. I think they paniced before they gave the game a chance. I am really enjoying the game. It is the type of football game I have been waiting for. I for one am glad that David and Matrix did not hold off in releasing it any longer. There is still more tweaking to be done, but the game is very playable and enjoyable in it current state.

Yup and I think the majority of the bugs have been reported so everyone else is just waiting for the next beta patch

I like the game a lot. I'm enjoying the Canadian rules and anxiously awaiting the point when the modders come up with a CFL mod. The game's upside is unlimited.

I haven't upload the latest patch 1.01 as yet, but I can see improvements with just 1.095 patch.
I enjoy replicating historical seasons with regard to player ratings and actual rosters for the NFL. Currently working on 1994 season. Although pass completions stats seem a little low and the first teams I created sacked the QB 10 times a game, I have found ways with regard to the player ratings to make things more realistic (also better playbooks improve the game significantly). Any simulation of this type requires alot of tweaking to get it just right, I'm just glad that David created the engine in the first place.
Last night I ran an exhibition game between the Buffalo Bills and the Chicago Bears, Buffalo won 30 - 10 (Nate Lewis ran back a punt 77 yards for Chi's only TD). Buff's defense smothered Chi, and Thurmond Thomas ran for 150+ yards and caught 5 passes for Buffalo. You would have thought it was the mid 90's again in the NFL. Bruce Smith was a one-man wreaking crew on defense, I may have to tone him down, but then he pretty much played at that level when he was in his prime.

Nope. There's more. I have a large list.
Just taken it one step at a time.
Besides, every time you report a problem you're told to wait for a 3rd party utility, the patch is just beta or my personal favorite, no reponse to the original question/problem. [8|]
I'm just waiting to see what the next patch brings and going from there.

I would report bugs, but I've been busy during the week and been trying to make a utility for the game that is taking me longer then I had expected. [8|]
I do agree with Shaggy, there are some bugs, but they are getting more minor with each patch.

Shaggyra, Magnum and others....I was worried, with seeing no activity, that maybe people were going away. I think this games has far too much potential to not see it through and am relieved to see you guys still around.
Shaggyra, I can understand waiting for the next patch before releasing a new list of bugs. I sure am glad to see you guys still here...And I'm looking forward to the next MSAXFB release.
Take care guys!!!!!

I too am kind of in a wait and see mode. I hope to be able to do a college league with all 1A teams, the upcoming season's schedule (come on Mangum keep plugging away on that schedule utility [:D]), etc. I just don't want to invest the time until a few more issues are ironed out. Until then I play around with the game, trying different things.

I generally give Erik and the private beta testers a new build nightly (or at least every second night anyway). When it gets to a state we're comfortable with, we make it a public beta (1.0.101 I believe is the current). I take the feed back from that and go from there. Not everything that gets mentioned in the testing (private or public) gets fixed for the next release but everything gets looked at.

Haven't had that much time lately, but I am still around. Have another fantasy team in the works but still in the concept stage at the moment...maybe completed for next week at some point (??)...

No refund here. In fact, I would have probably paid $100(american) for this game. I'll be refining teams for the next week and start on playbooks soon. I base my $100 on several factors, but the two most important have to be 1)Endless customization in a football game. 2)Wintervalley Software is a quality group in touch with their user base.

Just got back from 12 days in Europe!! Going to now continue work on my base playbook (NFL1959), begin another playbook, finnish the field art for my fictional teams that still need it, and using some inspiration from some things I saw on my trip create a few more fictional teams.[:D]
