Noticed the clock running following a kickoff. Don't know if this had been mentioned yet.

I think it has been mentioned, but reminders are good.
In my game last night the 49ers were up by a fieldgoal with 1:34 left in 4th Quarter. They punted the ball, and when Pitts returned it, the clock kept running (which is good for the 49ers situation), but they called a time out?? Either the coached was panicing and should be fired, or the time-out code/logic should be reviewed
I have noticed quite a few good improvements with the game in watching cpu vs cpu using the latest patch, and after a few more fixes hopefully Dave can turn his attention to enhancements (play making on defense and also OFF & DEF profiles - both need more options or logic added).
I defintely see things looking up!

I haven't even touched OFF/DEF profiles in the Playbooks yet. I took one look at them the other day and thought they were a little confusing compared to Football Pro.

They are a little confusing at first for sure. I have dabbled here and there, and sometimes wonder if the game actually uses them. I have seen instances where in my def profile, if it was 3rd down and more than 10 yards, to run a Nickle package (2 actually, either nickle zone or nickle man). When faced with that scenario in the game (was watching CPU vs CPU), the defense ran a 43. That being said, it could have been confused with some other situations I set, so this needs more exploration (might not be a bug).
The reason I haven't tested extensively is the profiles don't provide a lot of flexibilty or situation calls. Right now it is pretty cut and paste, and I am hoping Dave at some point adds more options. I will experiment more today to try and make the game more realistic in cpu situations (no calling a dime play when it is 3rd & 1 and the offense is in goal line formation w/ 3 tight ends and no speed, etc) trying to work with the options available.
