its been 10years since i played a game of world in flames dont recall the use of supply counters what will there use be?.. for out of supply units?...do you stock pile them?
There are also naval supply units, which are poorly named. A naval supply unit can turn a minor port into a quasi-major port. They are not destroyed in the process but can be recovered and reused. By quasi-major I mean the stacking for naval units increases by 10 or 15 units.ORIGINAL: tigercub

Given that Naval Supply Units are TRS units, and that you built them randomly amongst TRS (you might build an NSU when picking for a TRS), I'm not sure to understand the "worth the price". You build them even if you don't want them. And if you want them, you're not sure to build them.supply units can be bvery useful, no doubt. But, I'm curious if anyone has found uses for naval supply units that are worth the price.

Anyway, I've always found uses the NSU I was lucky to pick. For example increasing a minor Port in the Marshalls from 4 to 14 or 19 ships helps when invading Truk or the Philippines. I also saw it used in the Celebes to increase the capacity of one of the 2 strategically placed port that give an entrance to the South China Sea.

I thought NSUs cost extra to build if you are playing with that option?
Bene some time so likely wrong...
