1.795 CHS game I picked up (did not start). It appears the prior player disbanded a carrier air group (TB). They are stuck in the air reinforcement queue under 'Organizing'. There are plenty of Kates in the pool to fill this group.

I never disband carrier groups myself and am wondering if this group will ever return.

I thought Carrier Groups cannot be disbanded ! [&:][X(]

Me too....but I definitely have a carrier Kate group sitting in the reinforcement queue organizing.

Which ship does the group belong to? Is the ship still afloat?

Yes. It's one of the CVL's. Going from memory here at work, it's a CII daitai.

The CIIs come from the Zuiho.

Disbanded or withdrawn?

Carrier groups on carrier can't be withdrawn/disbanded.
But transfer the group to land and it can be withdrawn, and end up in the queue.

Just tried an experiment....
A group which is attached to the 'Independent' HQ does not seem to want to come back into the game.[:D]
Change it to a normal HQ first, and then withdraw it..and it comes back.

Mynok, check the HQ on your 'Organizing' group. It will probably say 'Independent'.
Probably has something to do with not being on a carrier anymore.

I'll check. That sounds like the case though. Now I'm stuck without a carrier-trained group for the rest of the game. [:@]
