Fantastic link.. just went through it. A great artist and, from the sound of it, a good guy.

I've seen that same nose art befor (pelican in the P-47). Sombody have it in their sig/avatar here? or is that from my WW2O days. Knavey, do you remember it?

I ran across this site a few years back. Some great artwork and interesting stories. Liked the fun wedding night or lack of.

relly interesting read ( havnt gone through all of it). but its a nice shapshot of real life back then.
