Japanese capitulation

Hello everybody,
I have a question about the final phase of the game:
If I understand it correctly, there will be some campaigns covering the war from 194? to the end of the War.
Will there be some kind of option preventing a coordinated Japanese surrender, so that the player would be forced to destroy every single Japanese garrison?
