AI Busters

Greetings all, Former FBPRO98 nut here.

Been waiting a long time for something like to come out and fill the void left by Sierra dropping FBPRO.

Question, one issue that FBPRO98 always had was terrible AI, especially for the defense. Example, a receiver using throw a fake logic would effect any defender that with close to him, thus, a second receiver could be broken free by having another receiver throwing a fake, delaying his cover guy and the receiver is 10 yards or more behind everyone.

Another big one was the AI of the OL with regards to pass blocking, the guards especially acted like matadors as they would immediately look to block a DE even though a DT is lined directly over them.

Does Masimum Football have similar AI issues?

Thanks

Not the blocking issue the OL had in fbpro
although sometimes a DL guy can sometimes sneak in for a quick sack which mostly happens in arena but even that has been reduced with the patching of the game.

I'm not sure on the defensive ai issues I suck at making Defensive plays [&:]

At this point, the AI is pretty clean. There are a few issues that have to be tended to, like outside coverage and a couple logic commands, but most of the larger issues have been resolved.

I would add the line-up issue where the DBs break the huddle on the wrong side of the field and can't recover before the snap if the play is flipped.

One thing I have noticed more in this beta is LBs pursuit angles are wider on sweeps, cutting down on big plays. Any one else see this?

Ya, I have notice this aswell. Sweeps can still get big yardage once in a while, but the containment is much better now on Defense. But also keep in mind that many of the sweep plays can take advantage of certain defensive plays not designed to combat them right.

Zoned DBs still tend to double team primary WRs and ignore 3rd and 4th WRs, RBs and TEs forcing the defense to key on RBs and M2M on TEs. Has anyone else noticed this?
