Nik Mod and ASW

Since I restarted under 1.8 with Jap sub doctrine off. The IJN subs seem indestructible and very lethal. Did I miss something?[&:][:(]

Nik Mod ASW changes were removed for the latest version. Subs on both sides are much harder to sink outright though not so hard to damage. Mousetrap in particular remains particularily effective against Japanese subs even with the current patch version of WitP.

Isn't mousetrap a baby version of Hedgehog? Why should it be particularly effective relative to Hedgehog?

check your editor. Hedgehog, since you mention it, is even more dangerous.

I did - you are indeed correct - and I am fine with that. It was your statement that implied Mousetrap was somehow the bad guy. He is the baby brother of the bad guy. Which is correct. But the ranges are wrong - if anyone cares.
