Location for PPP

Post by BryanS1017 »

Question, playing with the game and the play editor and reading the manual, is there only one location for the plays, plans and profiles to be located?

One of the things with FBPRO98, one had the ability to create their own directory structor for creating and saving their stuff. Does Maximum Football also have that?

Where do they go!

I'm not sure I understand the question.

The coaching profile is stored in the playbook. You can access that from the PDS.

If you are asking if the plays and profiles are saved in only one FOLDER, then yes thats true. If you want to play around with things, and are worried about screwing things up, then simply save the Plays folder, either in desktop, or documents, or wherever you like to save things at. That way IF you mess up, you can replace the messed up plays folder with the original.

Oh, plays and playbooks(which are where profiles are stored) are in the "Plays" Folder.

ok, then for any league, everyone's, ie, all the teams in the league, plays and playbooks and profiles are all in the same directory????

If that is the case, maybe that is something that needs to be addressed.

I'm not sure I understand the requirement for separate folders.

Plays do not share file names. If a user creates a new play, it's going to have a unique file name. Players can create their own profiles that use their custom plays. And finally, exporting the plays and profiles (and importing them) is a single button click. Once that is done you can email everything to your commis to work with.

No........., plays, formations, and playbooks (which have their profiles included) are in the Plays folder. Leagues have their own file in the main folder titled league_"league name".
Teams in the league have a folder titled Teams_"League name", although I think its mainly for their graphics.

Try opening and looking in the games foder, you will see all of this there for the default leagues included in the game. It will probably be a lot easier to understand if you actually look at it.

Also, when you create a playbook, it will have its own file in the Plays folder, so each Playbook you make will be individual and seperate. If you like, you can export them into their own file in the main folder in the playbook utility. It will make a folder with ONLY the plays in that playbook, titled Playbook_Export_"playbooks name". Each team in each league can have their own playbook.
