in reference to objectives in the 2nd tutorial, DZ objective must be held between 0630 and0930 or there abouts. My question is, is there any consequence for losing that objective other than points, EG do re-inforcement fail to arrive or do they suffer any morale or attack penalties.

No reinforcements still arrive but they will get a hot reception when they are most vulnerable. It ain't pretty. Try it.
