Getting Error When Starting the Game

When starting the game for the first time I got an error message, error 91 after the second menu screen, What have I done wrong that wont allow me to actually play a game

Is there an error description with it? Or just the number?
By 'second menu screen' Which screen is that exactly?

Thanks for responding Dave, but I've gotten a handle on it now, I believe things went wrong while I was installing the updates, but I simply uninstalled and then reinstalled the game and then the updates and everything turned out fine. Thanks for monitoring the forums so closely, that is really rare in the gaming community for a devloper to take such an interest in the consumer's issues. Thanks again
