I played Austrlia in 1792 recently, and got protecorates quickly in Poland, Vatican and Venice, and held them all to win. I think there was a message to say 'Duchy of Warsaw levies special troops' or some such thing. Checking the manual, it says that Austria shouldn't be eligible for them?
