You guys have to stop sitting on your hands and get this thing out. You want paid, don't you?
Seriously though (and I don't want any of that "when it's done crap"...when is this heading to DD and how much? You at the very least must have a price and *rough* date?

Just to keep you posted. We have discovered that all the saved games we were including to use with the tutorials are now invalid because of the fix for the out of sync bug. ( Two steps forward, one back! ) So it's back to the drawing board for these. It will take us a week to redo all of these. So we won't be able to sign off till Fri 26 May now.

Take your time guys,
Get it right, First time.
Rather than continuous patches and modders having to make it a great game.

Just my guess, but if it's signed off on a Friday before a three day holiday weekend (in the US) the digital distribution folks won't be ready to put it in the online store till the following week. Yes, that will mean no COTA for a three day weekend [:(]
Just my guess of course.

You'll have to be a bit more patient than that.
After the game is released by Panther Games, you'll have to leave two or three weeks for Matrix to make the installer (and all sort of stuff I don't know about) before the game appears in the Store.
JeF.

Isn't that a price reduction from the original information - I have a vague recollection of being told it would be $60 or so at one point.

The price is $49.99 for digital download plus $10 if you want a boced CD version mailed to you as well.
As to timings well I'm working flat out at the moment. I'm two thirds the way finalising the Advanced Tutorial. I have had to redo the saved games due to the fix for the out of sync bug. I'm still aiming to sign off on Friday, but I can't guarantee that.

Dave
Sorry I started this thread off. I know you're keen to get the game out and I'm keen to buy it. I didn't buy HTTR because this one was going to have supply. Had I known that it was going to be as long as it has been, I would've bought HTTR.
Quick question - will the boxed version come with a printed manual? I hate pdf's!
Thx

I know this has been gone over before many times..but for the price of Matrix games there really should be a manual...and yes I read them, it's part of the experience. Bad enough I get penalized for having dial up and having to spend another $10 for a CD-Rom..doesn't seem right just becasue I can't afford high-speed.

Well Scott...I have to agree. I hate PDF's and the cost to me, personally, to get a manual printed in the UK is extortionate. The pure basics of economics suggest that bulk production vs singular production = savings.
As a company, Matrix could bulk produce the manuals which would be of benefit to Matrix and the buyer.
Sorry...but I like manuals and detest, with a vengeance, PDF's.
Matrix do many, many good things, in particular for wargaming, but I am disappointed with this policy.
