Replacement Levels - possible bug?

I've just started playing an unsecure game - I discovered on turn 2 that all HQ's with no units directly attached to them have had their replacement values reduced to zero(West front, Italian Front & a few other HQ's I have ready to defend the Axis oilfields ).
Consequently they therefore have zero OP.
Also I altered the replacement levels from 50 on a few HQ's and they seemed to have reverted back to 50.
Anyone else come acrossthis & are there plans to fix this ?

I have not heard any recent reports of this problem (it seems like I heard about this related to early SSI versions at one time). I just ran a quick test and did not have any problems with the HQ replacement levels myself.
Could you please e-mail me your game and I will take a look at it for help in finding the problem so we can work on fixing it? I appreciate your help with this.

I also experienced this in an unsecure 2 player game.
All HQ's without armies attached get 0 OP inc. West, STAVKA and so on....
Attach a single army to these HQ's and the OP's will reappear!
In another similar game, everything works fine!?

Hey Guys,
With spudmeister's help in sending me files, I was able to track down at least part of the replacement/OP level bug. It is related to changing at least one specific Axis infantry corps to a panzer corps - the 17th korps at 31, 32. As soon as it is switched to any of the 4 available panzer corps at the start, or possibly any other made available through switching a panzer corps to infantry, the replacement bug starts up. It will go away if the 17th Korps is put back into play, by the way. There may be other Axis (or even Soviet) corps that spark this bug - if anyone has problems with others, please report it.
This bug has been passed on to Arnaud, the programmer, but I doubt he will put much effort into fixing it, as it is fairly gamey play. It is not present, at least with the 17th Korps, in the latest version that we are playtesting (yes, the changes and fixes continue). As a matter of fact, there have been a number of discussions about preventing this type of usage of panzer corps, but the programming is probably too difficult to implement it.
Thanks for the reports of this problem, and spudmeister's help was critical in finding it (along with a lot of luck in choosing to change the 17th Korps).
